The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Impact Socket addresses this directly through its forged chrome molybdenum construction, which is then hardened and tempered to maximise strength and resistance to shock loading. The 6-point socket geometry distributes driving force evenly across the six flats of a fastener, reducing the risk of rounding under impact. A chemical blacking process is applied to the finished socket to provide corrosion protection, making it well suited to workshop environments where tools are exposed to moisture, fluids and general contamination. This socket is supplied individually and is sized at 18mm with a 3/8-inch square drive, making it compatible with standard 3/8-inch drive impact wrenches and ratchets. It is supplied display packed and carries the Draper HI-TORQ® designation, a registered trademark of Draper Tools Ltd denoting the Expert Quality standard within the Draper range.
