A chemical blacking treatment provides a layer of corrosion protection, keeping the socket serviceable in demanding workshop environments. The 6 point profile engages fastener flats squarely, reducing the risk of rounding under load — an important consideration when working with impact-driven torque. This socket is compatible with air, electric or manual impact wrenches via a 1/4" square drive. Note: only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Silver chrome vanadium steel sockets must never be used with impact tools as they can shatter and cause personal injury. Supplied display packed. One socket included.
