The 6-point socket geometry concentrates drive force directly onto the flat faces of the fastener, reducing the risk of rounding under the high-torque impulses produced by pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. The 1-inch square drive is the standard fitment for heavy-duty impact equipment used in truck, plant, and industrial maintenance applications, and the 50 mm size covers the large fasteners commonly encountered in those environments. Each socket is supplied complete with a pin and ring retaining system, ensuring positive retention on the drive square during use.
