The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 6882) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel and subsequently hardened and tempered, giving the socket the toughness required for sustained use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches. The 6-point socket geometry engages fastener flats directly, distributing drive force evenly and reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque conditions. The deep profile accommodates longer fastener stems that a standard-depth socket cannot reach, making this socket particularly well suited to applications where bolt protrusion or recessed fastener positions are encountered. A chemical blacking treatment is applied to the exterior, providing a degree of corrosion protection in workshop and automotive environments. The socket is supplied with a 3/8-inch square drive and a 9mm hex size. It is supplied display packed. The HI-TORQ® range carries the Draper Expert designation.
