Each socket is hardened and tempered after forging to optimise strength, then chemically blacked to provide corrosion protection in workshop environments where moisture and fluids are a constant presence. The 6-point profile engages fastener flats cleanly, reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque application. The deep format accommodates recessed fasteners and extended studs that a standard-depth socket would not reach. This socket accepts a 3/8-inch square drive and is sized at 13 mm, making it a practical choice for a range of automotive and workshop fasteners commonly encountered at that drive size.
