The Draper HI-TORQ® Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5066) answers that requirement with a forged chrome molybdenum steel construction that combines high tensile strength with the toughness needed to absorb impact forces cycle after cycle. The socket features a 6-point profile, which concentrates drive force squarely on the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque conditions. A black phosphate finish provides a layer of corrosion protection suited to workshop environments where moisture and cutting fluids are present. Designed for a 3/4" square drive, the 35mm socket is compatible with electric or pneumatic impact wrenches using that drive size. The deep-reach body accommodates proud studs, extended bolt threads, and recessed fasteners that a standard-depth socket cannot reach.
