The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5193) meets this requirement through a forged chrome molybdenum construction that is hardened, tempered and chemically blacked to provide corrosion protection across the working life of the tool. The 6 point drive profile engages fastener flats cleanly, reducing the risk of rounding under load, while the deep socket format accommodates extended bolt lengths and recessed fixings that standard-depth sockets cannot reach. The 1/4" square drive coupling ensures compatibility with the corresponding drive tools in a professional workshop inventory. An important safety note sourced from the manufacturer: only impact sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Chrome vanadium steel sockets must never be substituted, as they can shatter under impact loads and cause personal injury.
