The Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket addresses this need with a forged chrome molybdenum construction that is hardened, tempered and chemically blacked to provide corrosion protection throughout the working life of the tool. The 6 point profile maximises contact with fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under the sustained torque loads typical of impact driving. The deep profile accommodates extended or recessed fasteners that shallow sockets cannot reach, making this socket well suited to automotive, workshop and industrial applications where bolt length varies. This socket accepts a 1/4 inch square drive and is sized at 12 mm, fitting the drive tools and extensions in any compatible 1/4 inch drive impact set. The chemical blacking finish reduces light reflection in confined working areas and provides a degree of corrosion resistance over bare metal. Supplied display packed as a single socket.
