The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5159) meets that demand with a forging of chrome molybdenum steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chemically blacked to resist corrosion in workshop and production environments alike. The 6-point socket geometry engages fastener flats cleanly, reducing the risk of rounding under high torque, while the deep profile accommodates extended or recessed fasteners that a standard-depth socket cannot reach. Rated for use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches at 1-inch square drive, this socket covers the heavy-duty applications found in commercial vehicle servicing, plant maintenance, and industrial assembly. The black phosphate finish provides a layer of corrosion protection suited to workshop conditions. Each socket is supplied with a pin and ring retainer to secure it on the drive, and is packed in a polythene bag with barcode for straightforward stock management.
