The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5150) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel, hardened and tempered, then chemically blacked to provide corrosion protection in demanding workshop environments. The 6-point socket geometry engages fastener flats squarely, reducing the risk of rounding under impact load. The deep profile accommodates extended fastener lengths where a standard-depth socket would not seat fully. Supplied with a pin and ring retaining system, the socket is secured positively on the 1" square drive, preventing unintended separation during use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches. Draper HI-TORQ® is a registered trademark of Draper Tools Ltd. This socket is supplied individually, packed in a polythene bag with barcode, and is sized at 36mm. As a safety note, only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches; chrome vanadium sockets must never be substituted, as they can shatter and cause personal injury.
