A tyre inflator that combines digital precision with the durability of a professional analogue tool is a practical answer to the demands of busy workshop and roadside inflation work. The PCL DAC403 is the ACCURA® MK4 Digital Tyre Inflator, fitted with a 0.53 m (21 in) hose and Twin Hold-on tyre valve connector, designed for both indoor and outdoor tyre inflation and deflation applications. The ACCURA® MK4 uniquely combines the robustness of the AIRFORCE® MK4 — regarded by PCL as the toughest analogue tyre inflator available — with the lightness, accuracy, and ease of use of a digital instrument. The extremely robust aluminium body is fitted with a protective rubber bumper for long, accurate service life, while the slimline biomorphic body shape reduces operator fatigue during extended use. PCL state it is the lightest metal-bodied digital tyre inflator on the market. The large LCD screen with permanent backlighting in use — auto-off after 25 seconds of non-use — ensures clear readability in dark workshops or at night. Calibration spans 4–250 psi (0.3–17.2 bar / 30–1723 kPa), covering passenger cars through to trucks, with a display resolution of 0.1 psi / 0.01 bar / 1 kPa and accuracy to BS EN 12645-2014. Maximum inlet pressure is 260 psi (18.0 bar / 1795 kPa) and flow rate is 500 l/min at 13 bar supply. The IP54-rated enclosure permits safe operation across a temperature range of -15°C to 55°C. Units of pressure measurement are selectable, making the DAC403 suitable for multi-vehicle workshop environments. The ACCURA® MK4 range is available with a wide choice of tyre valve connectors and hose lengths; the DAC403 is the 0.53 m Twin Hold-on variant. Weight of this unit is 495 g (1.09 lbs).
