Workshop tyre inflation demands accuracy and durability in equal measure. The PCL DAC404 is the 21-inch general model of the ACCURA® MK4 Digital Tyre Inflator, fitted with a 0.53 m hose and a single clip-on tyre valve connector, calibrated across a range of 4–250 psi / 0.3–17.2 bar. The ACCURA® MK4 is described by PCL as their most versatile digital handheld product, uniquely combining the robustness of an analogue inflator with the lightness, accuracy and ease of use of a digital instrument. The extremely robust aluminium body with protective rubber bumper is paired with a slimline biomorphic shape, making it both impact-resistant and comfortable to handle during extended use. PCL state it is the lightest metal-bodied digital inflator on the market. The permanently backlit LCD screen — 28 mm × 20 mm with 8 mm digit height — switches off automatically after 25 seconds of non-use. Selectable units of pressure reading and a display resolution of 0.1 psi / 0.01 bar / 1 kPa add to everyday flexibility. With a maximum inlet pressure of 260 psi / 18.0 bar and a flow rate of 500 l/min at 13 bar supply, the DAC404 is rated for a higher pressure range covering cars, vans and trucks. The IP54 ingress protection rating makes it suitable for both indoor workshop and outdoor use. Accuracy is certified to BS EN 12645-2014. Operating temperature range is -15°C to 55°C. The ACCURA® MK4 is available in additional hose length and connector configurations; refer to the product range for alternative variants.
