Worn or inaccurate tyre pressure tools cost time and create safety risk on commercial vehicles. The PCL DAC436 is the ACCURA® MK4 Tyre Inflator in the Truck Tyre configuration, fitted with a 3.6 m (12 ft) hose and twin clip-on connector, designed for high-pressure tyre inflation and deflation across a calibration range of 4–250 psi (0.3–17.2 bar / 30–1723 kPa) — covering both commercial truck and passenger car applications. The ACCURA® MK4 uniquely combines the robustness of the AIRFORCE® MK4 analogue inflator with the lightness, accuracy, and ease of use of a digital instrument. The aluminium body carries a protective rubber bumper for long service life. The slimline biomorphic form reduces operator fatigue, and PCL state it is the lightest metal-bodied digital inflator on the market. Three units of calibration — psi, bar, and kPa — are selectable as standard via the calibration toggle, with a display resolution of 0.1 psi / 0.01 bar / 1 kPa and accuracy to BS EN 12645:2014. The large LCD screen is permanently backlit during use, with auto-off after 25 seconds of non-use, making it equally usable in dark workshops and outdoors. The IP54 rating confirms suitability for both indoor and outdoor environments. Maximum inlet pressure is 260 psi (18.0 bar / 1795 kPa), and the flow rate is 500 l/min at 13 bar supply. Operating temperature range is -15°C to 55°C. Each unit is individually tested before despatch. The ACCURA® MK4 range is available with a wide choice of hose lengths and valve connector types; the DAC436 is the twin clip-on, 3.6 m variant within that series.
