The KNIPEX 95 31 280 Ratchet Action Cable Cutter is forged from special grade tool steel, hardened and tempered throughout, with a smoothly ground head and cutting edges that are precision ground and hardened for lasting sharpness. The two-stage ratchet drive mechanism enables one-hand operation, allowing cables to be cut progressively and cleanly without crushing or deforming the conductor. The 280mm model is also capable of cutting 4 x 150mm² aluminium cable, and the tool can additionally be used for wire stripping. Heavy duty moulded handles with slip guards provide extra safety and comfort during use. Note that these cutters are not suitable for cutting wire rope or steel wire. Supplied as a single unit.
