The two-stage ratchet drive allows one-hand operation, enabling cables to be cut with controlled, progressive force rather than a single crushing squeeze. This mechanism protects cable integrity during cutting and reduces operator fatigue on demanding jobs. The tool can also be used for wire stripping, adding versatility to its core cutting function. Heavy duty moulded handles with slip guards provide extra safety and comfort during use. It is important to note that these cutters are not suitable for cutting wire rope or steel wire. Supplied as a single unit. Note that the 280mm model in the KNIPEX 95 31 range will also cut 4 x 150mm² aluminium cable; this listing covers the 250mm model.
