It is individually tested to 10,000V and certified for use on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900. The patented dual-layer insulation is engineered so that any damage to the outer layer becomes immediately visible, providing a clear safety alert before the inner insulation is compromised. The SCVM steel blade is hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined 6.5mm tip ground to an exact fit for plain slot fasteners, reducing the risk of screw damage. The blade measures 150mm in length. The ergonomic bi-material soft grip handle allows free spinning in the palm for rapid screw driving, whilst also transmitting torque efficiently when greater force is required. Flat sides on the handle prevent the screwdriver from rolling on a workbench surface.
