The Draper XP1000® VDE PZ/SL Type Slimline Screwdriver addresses this directly: its insulated sheath is the same diameter as the blade itself, allowing unobstructed access into confined recesses where a conventional VDE screwdriver cannot reach. The tool is specifically designed for use with electrical screws on RCBs and MCBs. Safety is built into the construction at every level. Patented dual-layer insulation ensures that any damage to the outer layer is highly visible before a secondary layer is compromised. Each screwdriver is individually tested to 10,000V and is certified for use on live circuits of up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900. The SCVM steel blade is hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined No.2 PZ/SL tip that ensures an exact fit to the fastener and helps prevent screw damage. The 100mm blade length suits close-quarters terminal work. The ergonomic, soft-grip bi-material handle allows free spinning in the palm for rapid tightening, while also transmitting torque when greater force is required. Flat sides to the handle prevent the tool from rolling on work surfaces. A Lifetime Warranty is included.
