Achieving a reliable, consistent crimp on modular network connectors demands a tool built to professional tolerances. The Draper Expert RJ45 Ratchet Crimping Tool (44052) is constructed from carbon steel that has been hardened and tempered, then finished with a chemically blacked coating to provide corrosion protection during regular workshop use. The tool is designed for crimping RJ45, keyed and non-keyed modular plugs, making it suitable for structured cabling and data network termination tasks. A magnetic steel stripping head is included for long-life performance, with integrated cutters for tangent wire and sheathed wire, reducing the need to switch between tools during termination work. The ratchet mechanism ensures consistent crimp pressure on every connection. PVC cushion grip handles are fitted to both arms to support operator comfort during extended use. The tool measures 225mm in overall length and is supplied as a single unit. As part of the Draper Expert range, it is constructed to a quality standard suited to professional and trade environments. Supplied display packed.
