The Draper 41822 Automotive Digital Multimeter delivers both auto and manual ranging across a comprehensive set of measurement functions — including AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode test, continuity, temperature, DWELL angle and tachometer — making it a capable single-instrument solution for automotive workshop diagnostics. The meter features a backlit LCD screen for clear readings in low-light conditions, along with MAX capture, symbol unit data hold, and an automatic power-off function to preserve battery life. An audible continuity buzzer provides instant feedback without requiring the technician to look away from the circuit under test. DWELL measurement supports 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engines, while the tachometer covers RPM4 from 120 to 20,000 RPM and RPM2 from 60 to 20,000 RPM. Key measurement ranges include AC and DC voltage to 600 V, AC and DC current to 10 A, resistance from 600 Ω to 60 MΩ, capacitance from 40 nF to 4000 µF, frequency up to 9.999 MHz, and a temperature range of -20 °C to 1000 °C (-4 °F to 1832 °F). The meter measures 184 mm x 186 mm x 72 mm and weighs approximately 507 g. Supplied complete with test leads, a temperature probe, an inductive clamp, and a carry case. Powered by one PP3 9 V battery (included).
