The transformer is air-cooled and centre tapped to earth for extra safety. An intermittent duty rating of 10,000VA (10kVA) and a continuous duty rating of 7,000VA support demanding site workloads, with a defined duty cycle of five minutes on and fifteen minutes off during intermittent use. The rated power factor is 0.93 cos. Practical handling is addressed through collapsible lifting handles designed for safer handling and stacking, an elevated underside for improved access, and easily replaceable bolted feet. The ingress protection rating is IP44, and the unit is BSEN 61558-1 compliant. Dimensions are 655 x 485 x 410mm and the unit weighs 69.5kg. The transformer is supplied without plug or cable.
