On construction sites where 230V mains power is unavailable or restricted, a reliable 110V site transformer is essential for running power tools and lighting safely. The Sealey WST10000 is a 10kVA single-phase site transformer with a continuous rating of 7000VA and a power factor of 0.93 COSφ, suitable for intermittent running of power tools and continuous running of lighting products within its specified capacity. The steel case carries an IP44 rating for protection against dust and water ingress, and is fitted with heavy-duty handles to aid positioning on site. Six output sockets are provided 2 x 32A/110V and 4 x 16A/110V giving flexible connection for multiple tools and lighting circuits simultaneously. A miniature circuit breaker is fitted, with MCB protection on both input and output: a single 32A 2-pole Type D MCB on the input, two 32A 2-pole Type D MCBs and two 16A 2-pole Type D MCBs on the output. The earth type is centre tapped to earth, in line with standard site transformer practice. Rated for an average temperature range of 20°C to 30°C.
