Achieving accurate mitre, bevel and compound cuts demands a saw that holds its line under load and adapts to a wide range of workpiece sizes. The Draper Expert 79899 Double Bevel Sliding Compound Mitre Saw is built to meet that requirement, delivering 2000W of power through a 255mm (10") T.C.T. blade running at 5500 r/min with a 30mm bore. The double bevel head swings in both left and right directions, enabling bevel cuts of up to 40° left and 38° right, and compound cuts of up to 40° left and 26° right. A cross cut capacity of 90 x 315mm and a mitre cut capacity of 90 x 215mm accommodate a broad range of section sizes. The sliding arm extends reach for larger workpieces, while the depth stop provides a trenching facility for controlled, repeatable stopped cuts.Practical workshop features include a laser cutting guide for precise line-following, integral dust extraction to keep the work area clear, a vice clamp to secure the workpiece, a stop bar for repeat-length cutting, and extension wings to support longer stock. The table base and side extension wings are constructed from diecast aluminium, providing a rigid and stable platform.Supplied ready to use with a 40-tooth T.C.T. saw blade, a cable and an approved plug. The saw is presented in a display carton.
