Accurate, straight cuts in timber, sheet materials and engineered boards demand a guided plunge saw rather than a freehand circular saw, and the Draper 57341 is built precisely for that purpose. The 1200W, 230V motor drives a 165mm blade at up to 5200rpm (no load), delivering a maximum cutting depth of 55mm at 90° and 42mm at 45°, giving the capacity to work through most standard sheet goods and solid timber sections in a single controlled pass. The saw rides on two 700mm guide rails equipped with anti-slip grips, ensuring the tool tracks straight and stays firmly positioned on the workpiece throughout the cut. A 0–45° bevel cutting base extends versatility to angled work, while the spindle lock simplifies blade changes and the electronic brake brings the blade to a rapid stop once the trigger is released, reducing handling risk between cuts. A dust extraction fitting is incorporated so the saw can be connected to a workshop vacuum, keeping the cut line visible and the work environment cleaner. The unit weighs 5.8kg and is supplied with a 24-tooth blade, a 2m cable with BS plug, and the two 700mm guide rails. Compatible accessory rails are also available separately: SKU 98199 provides 2 x 0.7m rails and SKU 98041 provides a single 1.4m rail for longer cuts. Bore diameter is 20mm. The saw is not supplied in a case.
