When crash repair prep demands rapid panel removal and you need a tool that can cut through steel and aluminium in tight spaces, an air saw with genuine reach and control makes all the difference. The Sealey SA348 is a slim-body reciprocating air saw built for bodyshop use, capable of cutting through panels, sills and chassis members with a free speed of 9,000 strokes per minute and a 10mm stroke length. Maximum cutting capacity is 2mm in steel and 3mm in aluminium, making it well suited to the kind of structural and body panel work encountered in initial crash repair preparation. Operating at 90psi with a 1/4" BSP inlet and an air consumption of just 3cfm, the SA348 is light on your compressor as well as easy to handle. A safety trigger device is fitted as standard. The slim body profile gives you access in areas where a conventional tool would struggle. The SA348 is supplied with a starter pack of blades, and compatible consumable blades are available separately: SA34/B14 (14tpi, pack of 5), SA34/B24 (24tpi, pack of 5), and SA34/B32 (32tpi, pack of 5). Noise power is rated at 99dB(A) and vibration at 11.985m/s² appropriate PPE should be worn during use.
