Working around engines and in confined spaces puts conventional sanders out of reach leaving surfaces unfinished where it matters most. The Sealey SA1003 is a mini air sander with a 50mm pad, purpose-built for professional workshop use in tight areas where space is limited. Its contoured composite handle reduces the effects of both chill and vibration during extended use, while the lightweight construction keeps operator fatigue to a minimum. The tool runs at a free speed of 16,500rpm at 80psi operating pressure with an air consumption of 12cfm via a 1/4" BSP inlet. Variable speed adjustment and a safety release trigger give precise control, and the rear exhaust with baffle reduces noise output rated at 97/86dB(A). An industry-standard fitting accepts a wide range of compatible discs and pads. The sander is supplied with a quick-change 50mm backing pad and wrenches. Compatible replacement sanding discs include PTCQC5060 (60 grit), PTCQC5080 (80 grit), PTCQC50120 (120 grit), PTCQC50F (fine), PTCQC50M (medium), and PTCQC50C (coarse), each sold as packs of 10. Replacement quick-change backing pad is available under model number PTCQCBP50. Backed by a 3-year guarantee.
