The Sealey SA77 random orbital air sander tackles that problem with a lightweight, balanced aluminium body and a double bearing counter balance assembly that reduces fatigue during extended use. A spindle lock device makes pad removal quick and straightforward. The housing is fitted with a composite cap and internal baffle for quiet operation, keeping noise pressure down to 87dB(A). An airflow control valve lets you adjust performance to suit the task. Running at up to 10,000rpm free speed on a 4.2mm orbit, the SA77 connects via a 1/4" BSP inlet and operates at 90psi with an air consumption of just 4cfm. Supplied complete with a 150mm hook-and-loop backing pad ready to fit abrasive discs. Thread size is 5/16" UNF.
