Heavy paint, rust scale and corrosion on metal surfaces can be time-consuming and difficult to shift with conventional tools. The Sealey SA50 is a Generation series pistol-type air needle scaler designed to tackle exactly these tasks, delivering 4,500 beats per minute at 90psi operating pressure to clean metal surfaces efficiently. Powered by a 4cfm air consumption rate with a 1/4"BSP inlet, it features a 43mm stroke and variable speed trigger control so you can match the power output to the task in hand. The rubber grip adds comfort during extended use. The removable needle head means the SA50 can also be used as a standard air hammer, though a chisel set and spring retainer are required for this function and are not included. Replacement needle sets (SA50.02, 19-piece), an optional spring retainer (SA11R/17) and a 5-piece chisel set (SA12C) are available separately. Noise power and pressure levels are 111/100dB(A) and vibration is rated at 13m/s² with an uncertainty value of 5.2m/s².
