The PCL APP405 is a reversible air drill from the Prestige range, fitted with a 3/8" (10mm) Jacobs keyless chuck and designed for drilling, reaming, and honing in professional workshop environments. The APP405 is built around a magnesium body, keeping the tool weight to 1.16 kg, with a triple planetary gear system driven by reliable heat-treated gears. The side-mounted forward/reverse shift gives the operator direct control over run direction without repositioning grip, and the rear exhaust is routed through the handle to direct air away from the work area. The ergonomic grip is intended to support comfort during prolonged use. Free speed is rated at 1,800 rpm with an air consumption of 4.28 cfm (121.4 l/min). The minimum hose size is 3/8" (10 mm) and the air inlet is 1/4". The tool measures 203 mm in length and produces a vibration rating of 2.73 m/s². The 3/8" drive keyless chuck accepts a range of drill bits for fast, tool-free bit changes. PCL publish compressor sizing guidance: the APP405 requires a 24-litre receiver at 6 cfm running load, scaling to 50 cfm for a 200-litre receiver.
