A blowgun that allows compressed air to be directed with precision is a daily-use tool in any professional workshop. The PCL BG8501 is a 2 Bar Regulated Safety Blowgun from the Ergo Extreme range, fitted with a standard conical nozzle and an Rp 1/4 inlet, design-engineered in the UK for comfort and durability in continuous workshop use. The Ergo Extreme is constructed from durable Zytel Nylon with a flexible rubber grip that provides additional cushioning and increased strength during extended use. A newly designed air release valve is built into the body, enabling the trigger and airflow to be feathered for precise control. PCL state this range replaces their previous best-in-class blowgun line, building on the high quality and performance for which PCL is renowned — from handle to tip. The BG8501 incorporates automatic pressure reduction that ensures the air inlet is reduced to the recommended 2 bar, in line with OSHA guidance for industrial safety blowguns. This automatic regulation virtually eliminates user error and enhances safety in industrial environments. Airflow is rated at 8.9 cfm (252 l/min) and sound output is 90 dBa. The product conforms to EU/2003/10/CE. Overall dimensions are 310 mm (L) × 25 mm (W) × 65 mm (H), with a shipping weight of 0.24 kg. The Ergo Extreme range is design-engineered in the UK as part of the HORNGROUP portfolio, with PCL's manufacturing heritage in Sheffield dating to 1938.
