The Laserliner 080.983A DistanceMaster Plus Laser Rangefinder covers an indoor measurement range of 0.05 m to 100 m with a typical precision of ±1.5 mm, making it well suited to rapid professional measurement tasks across construction, surveying, and fit-out applications. The unit calculates lengths, areas, and volumes directly, with addition and subtraction of measurements built in. The angle function enables indirect determination of heights and distances using the Pythagoras method, allowing accurate measurement of locations that cannot be accessed directly. Continuous measurement mode supports situations where the target object moves during measurement, and the wall area addition function provides a dedicated decorators' calculation mode. A digital spirit level ensures the device is precisely aligned horizontally before each reading. Measured data is transferred to an internal log via the digital connection interface, with a memory of 50 storage locations for recording results across a project. The selectable housing reference point and the Min/Max function further extend measurement flexibility in the field. The operating temperature range is -10°C to 40°C. The laser operates at a wavelength of 635 nm and is rated Class 2 / less than 1 mW in accordance with EN 60825-1:2014/A11:2021 and EN 50689:2021. The rangefinder measures 54 mm × 126 mm × 27 mm and weighs 142 g including the battery pack. It is supplied with a Li-ion battery pack (3.7 V / 0.7 Ah) and a transport box.
