The Laserliner 082.013E DampFinder Home is a resistive material moisture measuring device designed to record exact moisture levels quickly and accurately across a range of common building materials, including wood, cement screed, gypsum plaster and aerated concrete. Its penetrating measuring spikes are pressed directly into the test piece, delivering resistive moisture content readings suited to on-site checks during material processing or installation. The device features an auto-hold function that temporarily saves the most recent measured value, allowing the user to read the result after withdrawing the instrument from the material. Calibration integrity can be verified using the removable protective cap, which doubles as a self-test facility to confirm correct operation. The same cap protects the measuring spikes from damage during storage and transport. The housing is stable and ergonomically shaped to sit comfortably in one hand, enabling firm, controlled pressure against the test piece. The housing is largely constructed from recycled material, reflecting a contribution to sustainability. Power is supplied by a single 9V 6LR61 battery. The unit is supplied complete with the protective cap with self-test function and battery, ready for immediate use.
