The Laserliner 082.328A DampMaster Plus addresses this by providing material-specific resistive moisture measurement across an exceptionally broad range of substrates: 111 wood types and 42 building materials, with results expressed as moisture content by mass percentage. For professionals requiring compatibility with established site assessment protocols, the device also features a dedicated CM mode covering 12 building materials, which evaluates moisture content in CM %, comparable to the calcium carbide method. High measuring accuracy is achieved through these material-specific measurement profiles rather than generic calibration curves. The clear display simultaneously presents all key data — material moisture reading, maximum reading, reference value and ambient temperature — giving a comprehensive on-screen picture without the need to scroll or toggle between screens. A wet/dry indicator comprising 12 coloured LEDs provides immediate visual feedback on the degree of moisture or dryness. The universal index mode enables rapid localisation of moisture using comparative measurements, and a reference mode is also available. Measurement data can be transferred directly to a smartphone via the Digital Connection interface, supporting digital record-keeping and reporting workflows. Features include auto-hold, Max function and calibration test capability. Supplied complete with batteries and a carrying case, the DampMaster Plus is ready to deploy from the moment it arrives on site.
