Shell Corena S3 R 46 is a premium rotary air compressor oil designed for long-life service and improved efficiency in rotary sliding-vane and screw air compressors. The product uses an advanced additive system to provide protection and performance under demanding rotary compressor service conditions.
The 'R' designation indicates rotary (sliding-vane and screw) compressor positioning, and the ISO VG 46 viscosity grade is the most widely specified rotary compressor oil viscosity.
Approvals and performance levels include ISO 6743-3 (compressor oil classification). The product is tested to ASTM D445; ASTM D1298; ASTM D3427 (air-release); ASTM D2272 (RPVOT oxidation stability); and ASTM D1401 (water separability).
Shell Corena S3 R 46 is also available in a 209-litre drum (PRD00003977) for workshop bulk supply.
