Exocet Cooker Protect is a specialist additive for domestic kerosene used in range-style cookers and vaporising burners, supplied here in the 200 litre drum pack. It is the Cooker additive with added protection for the fuel in storage, and it is endorsed by Esse cast iron range cookers.
Its concentrated blend of antioxidant and stability chemistry improves fuel stability both in the tank and in the gravity feed pipe close to the burner, which helps maintain a free fuel flow. It significantly reduces the tendency to form coke in the burner plate and limits the char value of the fuel. Regular use inhibits fuel ageing and degradation, which prevents in-tank deposit formation and improves shelf life. It also minimises the potential for fuel tank corrosion and prevents microbial growth in a clean system.
Dose at 200ml to 1,000 litres of heating oil. Use it where a range cooker is running on kerosene, where the storage tank has low turnover, or where the burner cokes up continually and the fuel pipe blocks. It is not for use in flueless burners.
