Shell Tellus S4 VX 32 (formerly Shell Tellus Arctic) in the 209-litre drum is an advanced hydraulic fluid technology designed for use in applications subjected to extremely low ambient temperatures, such as arctic operations, cold-climate construction equipment and outdoor mobile hydraulics operating below freezing. The 'ROW' designation indicates the Rest Of World product specification.
The product provides hydraulic performance and protection where standard hydraulic oils would lose pumpability. The ISO VG 32 viscosity grade is selected for the lower-viscosity profile needed in extreme cold-climate hydraulic operation.
Approvals and performance levels include ISO 6743-4; and DIN 51524.
For single-machine service and smaller operators, Shell Tellus S4 VX 32 is also available in a 20-litre pack (PRD00004635).
This drum format is suited to workshop bulk supply, fleet service and high-throughput dispensing via a workshop pump or filtration cart. Store the drum on its side in a bunded area, with the bung uppermost to limit moisture and contamination ingress around the fitting.
