Where directional heads throw hard light and hard shadows, the PL-300 does the opposite: four petal lighting elements with diffusers cast an even, glare-reduced glow through a full 360 degrees - lighting a whole working area at once rather than a single face of it. That makes it the pick for tasks where people work all around the light: vehicle repairs, livestock work, pitside jobs, marquees and outdoor events.
The mast rises to 3.4 metres and the unit weighs just 8.8kg, so one person can carry it in, stand it up and move it as the job moves. On its two D24-100 lithium-ion packs it delivers up to 8,000 lumens for 6.5 hours in Turbo mode, stretching to more than 74 hours in ECO - and brightness is adjustable across the full 800 to 8,000 lumen battery range. Connect the optional X1-75-56BH mains driver and output rises to 14,000 lumens with stepless dimming, while the driver also charges the fitted batteries.
The heavy-duty aluminium mast and IP66-rated build are made for outdoor conditions, and a phone stand with USB charging keeps devices topped up at the light. Supplied Body Only; a Kit version with batteries and charger is also available.
