Variations
The Haztec 5-9604-FD is a complete flip-down assembly kit combining the Haztec 5-9504 Message Sign with a sun shield in a single orderable unit, from Haztec's next-generation LED message sign range with a 5 year warranty.
The flip-down mechanism lets the message sign be deployed when working and folded away when travelling, protecting the sign and keeping the vehicle profile clean between jobs. The included sun shield maintains LED legibility in bright sunlight, where an unshielded sign can wash out.
Assemblies in this family pair Haztec's programmable InfoSign message signs with the deployment hardware as one kit, so specifying a vehicle installation is a single line item rather than separate sign, frame and shield orders. The companion parts cover both sign sizes in flip-up and flip-down formats - this kit is the flip-down version with the 5-9504 message sign.
Message content is handled by the sign's programmable controller; see the sign's own listing for character and message capacity details.
