The UTV Products UTV701 is a 15-ohm load resistor kit supplied as a matched pair, designed as a direct accessory for use with UTV324, UTV325, and UTV300 indicators. Load resistors of this type are used to simulate the electrical draw of a standard filament bulb, preventing the rapid-flash or hyper-flash behaviour that commonly occurs when LED indicator bulbs are fitted to a vehicle's existing flasher circuit.
Each kit contains two resistors — one per indicator channel — ensuring both sides of the vehicle can be brought into correct operational balance in a single purchase. The 15-ohm resistance value is specified to suit the UTV324, UTV325, and UTV300 indicator units in the UTV Products range.
Installation is straightforward: the resistors are wired in parallel with the LED indicator load, bridging the deficit in current draw that triggers unwanted rapid flashing. This allows the vehicle's original flasher relay to operate at the cadence for which it was calibrated, without requiring a relay replacement or additional control module.
