The Draper 51328 rechargeable inspection lamp addresses this with magnetic swivel end caps that attach firmly to metal surfaces, combined with a dedicated under-bonnet hanger for securing the lamp directly to car bonnets. The unit swivels 120° within its holder, allowing the beam to be directed without repositioning the lamp itself. Two brightness modes are selectable: 36 SMD LEDs delivering 600 lumens for maximum visibility, or 16 SMD LEDs at 300 lumens for less demanding tasks or to conserve battery life. The integral Ni-MH rechargeable battery provides up to four hours of continuous usage per charge. Charging is handled via the supplied BS-approved 3-pin 230V charger, making it straightforward to keep the lamp ready for use from any standard UK mains socket. The combination of magnetic mounting, adjustable swivel, and dual output modes makes this lamp well suited to automotive inspection, under-bonnet diagnostics, and general workshop use.
