Variations
Blind bearing removal demands precise, purpose-built tooling. When working within confined housings where standard pullers cannot reach, an undersized or incompatible extension rod will compromise the entire extraction process. The Sykes-Pickavant 09801900 Extension Rod provides a correctly dimensioned 30 mm extension designed specifically to support that operation.
This extension rod is engineered for use with the Sykes-Pickavant 098 series Multipull blind bore bearing remover. It extends the reach of the 098 series tool, allowing the blind bearing remover to access housings at depth where direct engagement with the puller body alone would be insufficient. The rod integrates into the 098 series system as a dedicated accessory rather than a generic adapter.
The extension rod is specified at 30 mm. No additional dimensional data, weight, or thread specification is provided in the manufacturer's source data. Compatibility is confirmed for the 098 series Multipull blind bore bearing remover only. Users should confirm that 30 mm of additional extension meets the depth requirements of their specific application before ordering.
As a dedicated 098 series accessory, this extension rod forms part of the broader Sykes-Pickavant Multipull system, which includes a range of interchangeable collets and adaptors for various bore sizes. Other extension lengths may be available within the series.
