The Metrol 1401-20-20 is a key retaining quarter turn lock with a 20mm barrel height, finished in black textured powder coat. Designed for panel-mounted enclosure security applications, it accepts a 20.1 x 20.1 mm panel cutout and accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 to 8 mm. The lock operates with a Lock Type 333 key (keys supplied) and carries IP65 ingress protection, making it suitable for installations where dust and water resistance are required.
The housing is constructed using zinc alloy die casting with black textured powder coat finish, while the cam material options are available across the range. A stainless steel 316L housing and insert variant, with an SS304 cam, is available within the 1401 series for applications demanding enhanced corrosion resistance. The mild steel zinc plated cam is fitted as standard on the zinc die housing variant.
