The Osborn NoVo flex-B bore brush (15.5 mm bore diameter, 200 mm length) uses silicon carbide abrasive filament at grit 180, with a 3.6 mm shank for mounting in power drills or CNC machines. The abrasive nylon filament flexes on contact, conforming to the bore wall and delivering consistent material removal across the full circumference without the risk of wire breakage or metallic contamination. As the filament wears, new abrasive grit is continuously exposed from within, maintaining a uniform removal rate throughout the brush's working life. This variant is grit 180 for finer bore finishing and surface preparation. Osborn NoVo flex-B brushes are used in precision machining, general engineering and maintenance applications where consistent bore surface quality is required.
