The Osborn Grittyflex cup brush (50mm, 6mm shank) uses abrasive nylon filament at grit 180 (colour code: blue) and operates at up to 4,500 RPM on power drills. Unlike wire brushes, Grittyflex abrasive nylon adapts to the workpiece contours on contact, making it particularly effective on curved, irregular or delicate surfaces where wire brushes would cause uneven results or surface damage. As the nylon filament wears down in use, new abrasive grit is continuously exposed, maintaining a uniform and consistent removal rate throughout the working life of the brush. This variant is grit 180 (blue) for finer surface finishing and detailed smoothing. The colour coding makes it simple to identify and select the correct grit for each task. TÜV-Süd certified for safety and consistent production quality.
Application: Suitable for all materials; for the easy roughing and smoothing of surfaces, particularly suitable for processing curved surfaces.
