The electrostatic sand planting and open coat aluminium oxide grain work together to aid chip removal and heat dissipation during use, helping to maintain cutting efficiency and extend belt life. A special butt joint construction minimises the effect of vibration across the work surface, contributing to the smooth and even finish the belt is designed to produce. The X-weight polycotton cloth backing provides both flexibility and durability, enhancing load intensity and enabling use across different pressure applications. At 100 x 1220mm and ground to 180 grit, these belts are suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. They are compatible with all 100 x 1220mm sanders. Supplied as a pack of two 180 grit belts.
