A special butt joint minimises the effect of vibration across the work surface, ensuring a smooth and even finish with each pass. The backing is constructed from X-weight polycotton cloth, which combines flexibility with durability. This enhances the intensity of loading and allows the belt to perform across different pressure applications, making it suitable for both light finishing work and more demanding material removal tasks. Each belt measures 100 x 1220mm and is rated at 40 grit, placing it in the coarse range for rapid stock removal. Supplied in a pack of two, these belts are compatible with all 100 x 1220mm belt sanders.
