Variations
Ten genuine PCL ACA2593 Standard Adaptors with R 1/4 male threads, a trade quantity for workshops and fleet depots.
Standardising a workshop on one plug means every tool connects to every coupling. The ACA2593 is the original UK profile Standard Adaptor, made in Sheffield by PCL for over 75 years and now a UK benchmark for quality and reliability. It is used in most workshop and garage environments.
Each adaptor is case-hardened steel with a corrosion resistant finish for longer life. It plugs into PCL Airflow, Vertex, UK Standard Push Button Safety, Safeflow and Non-corrodible couplings, which interchange with Cejn 295 and Rectus 19. The profile carries 43 cfm at 100 psi through a 4.8 mm nominal bore, with 14 bar (200 psi) maximum working pressure and a -40°C to 100°C range.
The 1/4 BSP taper male thread screws into tool inlets. Ten adaptors cover a multi-bay workshop or a maintenance store, and because every tool carries the same plug, any tool can be used at any bay. Smaller quantities are available as the pair (ACA2593), pack of three (ACA2593-PK3) and pack of five (ACA2593-PK5).
