A pipe or cable left to rattle against the chassis wears through long before its service life is up.
The PCSH5BG is a JCS lined P-clip with a 5mm closed diameter, sized to wrap a pipe, hose or cable of that outside diameter and bolt it to a surface through its M6 fixing hole (6.6mm). The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing, is UV and ozone resistant, and is rated for service from -50C to +160C. A strengthening rib in the band keeps the clip flush against the mounting face. Fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied.
The band is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301, BS304), the right specification for outdoor, wet and corrosive environments - and because JCS makes the zinc and stainless versions to identical dimensions, you can switch material without changing your mounting. With the TPE160 liner rated to +160C, it is the version to specify where heat builds - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs and hot plant. The 5mm closed diameter should equal the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable - not the bore. Stores tip - label the bin with the closed diameter (5mm) and bolt size together.
Also available - the standard liner version (PCSR5BG); the zinc plated version (PCZH5BG); the 6mm size (PCSH6BG).

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 5mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 5mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request.

A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so sunlight does not degrade it, and the band comes in zinc plated or 304 stainless for outdoor duty - stainless where it stays wet. Size the clip to the outside diameter of the tube or pipe being fixed.
A. Yes - JCS P-clips are designed for fixing pipes, hoses and cables, with the lined band protecting a cable sheath - armoured or otherwise - from chafing while absorbing vibration. Match the closed diameter to the cable's outside diameter.
