Product Number: PCSH13BG
When a line must cross a panel, frame rail or wall, the fixing has to grip without chafing what it holds.
The PCSH13BG is a JCS lined P-clip with a 13mm closed diameter, sized to wrap a pipe, hose or cable of that outside diameter and bolt it to a surface through its M6 fixing hole (6.6mm). The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing, is UV and ozone resistant, and is rated for service from -50C to +160C. A strengthening rib in the band keeps the clip flush against the mounting face. Fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied.
The band is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301, BS304), the right specification for outdoor, wet and corrosive environments - and because JCS makes the zinc and stainless versions to identical dimensions, you can switch material without changing your mounting. With the TPE160 liner rated to +160C, it is the version to specify where heat builds - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs and hot plant. The 13mm closed diameter should equal the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable - not the bore.
Also available - the standard liner version (PCSR13BG); the zinc plated version (PCZH13BG); the 12mm size (PCSH12BG); the 16mm size (PCSH16BG).

A. Its closed diameter is 13mm - match that to the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable you are fixing. If you need a size that is not listed, JCS makes non-standard sizes on request. That is approximately 1/2 in, if you work in imperial.

A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
A. They do different jobs: a hose clip seals a flexible hose onto a rigid fitting, while a P-clip fixes a pipe, hose or cable to a surface - holding it in place rather than sealing it.
