The BS Truck Buffer is a 60mm-diameter flat rubber bump stop designed to cushion machinery and vehicles against impact shocks from external moving components. With an overall length of 125mm, a body width of 40mm, and a mounting height of 15mm, this two-hole rubber-to-metal bonded buffer absorbs and dissipates energy on contact, reducing impact force transmitted to the host structure and improving both machinery lifespan and operator comfort. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the flat male mounting configuration allows straightforward installation against a surface or secondary moving object. The two fixing holes (D1: 20mm, D2: 8mm) provide secure attachment across a range of mounting faces. By working in compression or shear, or a combination of both. The buffer acts as an elastic element that protects surrounding structures whilst maintaining predictable performance across repeated loading cycles. The 60mm-diameter (dimension A) form factor is suited to applications where a compact yet effective bump stop is required across commercial vehicles, construction equipment, industrial machinery, agricultural equipment, and elevators. It is equally applicable in power generation, marine, railway and mass transit, and automotive environments where controlled impact absorption is essential. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request for demanding operating conditions.
