Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded construction, the male flat buffer format provides low-cost shock and vibration absorption and installs easily against any secondary object or flat surface. The 15 x 8 mm rubber element pairs with an M4 x 10 thread, making this the smallest variant in the range and well suited to space-constrained assemblies where a precise, consistent elastic element is required. The 60 Shore A hardness grade performs effectively across the broad range of applications where neither the high deflection of a soft grade nor the firm restraint of a harder grade is appropriate: industrial machinery, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, commercial vehicles, and elevators. Where mounts may be loaded in compression, shear, or a combination of both, this grade provides a reliable general-purpose response.
